Medvest helped Kindred Healthcare, Tennova Healthcare, and the University of Tennessee develop a new 57-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. The project relocated existing beds from various Tennova hospitals to the new rehabilitation hospital.

The strategic alliance between the three healthcare service providers improves access, cost effectiveness, and treatment options to patients seeking the hospital’s rehabilitation services. The hospital provides all private rooms, including dedicated wings for stroke and brain trauma patients. The facility features a modern therapy gym, private therapy rooms, a cooking therapy room, and an “Activities of Daily Living” therapy suite.
