Tampa Bay Area Medical Office Development Complete
Capital Growth Medvest is pleased to announce the completion of AdventHealth Welsey Chapel’s newest addition — a three-story, 96,000-square-foot medical office building. The campus addition brings modern outpatient cancer treatment to Wesley Chapel through a partnership between AdventHealth and Moffitt Cancer Center. The medical office building will provide treatments for a wide range of specialties. In addition to oncology, the multi-specialty facility is currently slated to offer orthopedics, physical therapy, and classroom space. In the future, the building might also include an ambulatory surgery center.
“We are excited to partner with AdventHealth, leveraging our complementary strengths to turn innovative research into cutting-edge treatment and prevention for all those touched by cancer,” said Thomas A. Sellers, PhD, MPH, director and executive vice president of Moffitt Cancer Center. “I commend AdventHealth for their commitment to the promise of a National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive cancer consortium.”
Capital Growth Medvest, the project’s owner and developer, has completed healthcare developments to help providers across the nation. This project represents the company’s third venture in Florida. During a year that posed additional challenges, the turn-key development has been completed quickly and is now ready for AdventHealth and Moffitt Cancer Center.
Brasfield & Gorrie, a nationally ranked construction firm, was the general contractor. HuntonBrady Architects, recognized with 65 American Institute Design Awards, was the architect.
