Building 6 is the second development in Auburn Research Park for the joint venture between Capital Growth Medvest and Harbert Realty Services. The new facility will be owned and operated by East Alabama Medical Center.

The planned 88,000-square-foot, 3-story building is expected to break ground during the third quarter of this year. Building 6 will house a free-standing emergency department and an ambulatory surgery center with four surgical suites — including the potential for future expansion. East Alabama Medical Center's presence in the park will create new opportunities and serve the medical needs of Auburn's growing population.

“[Our] strategy is to meet the needs and contribute to the economy of our vibrant and ever-expanding community”
