Merit Health, a division of Community Health Systems, has strengthened its presence in Central Mississippi with Capital Growth Medvest’s first development in the state. The new 35,000 square-foot medical office building is located next to Merit Health’s existing 67-bed hospital.
The facility’s services include primary care, obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics and other specialty providers. Now, patients in north Madison County can conveniently visit their physician in Canton, rather than traveling to Jackson. Since completion, it has joined Merit Health’s extensive network, which includes twelve in-state hospitals.
